Change a Jonas Daughter Story Chapter 9

Joe's POV--

Woah, she was amazing! I'm pretty sure she cussed, but we'd leave that talk til later. Tay and I looked at eachother. We had no clue, no clue that she had that amount of talent and that she felt that way. Everyone gave her a standing ovation, which included the other competitors. She ran down and I got up and hugged her.

Joe: You were amazing!

Isabella: You're not mad about the song choice?

Joe: No, I can't believe that you felt that way.

Isabella: It's nothing. I'm fine now. I promise.

Taylor: You rocked!

Isabella: Thank you so much!

We watched the other performances, but I knew in the back of my mind Izzy would win. I think everyone knew that... well everyone but Izzy. She's so humble. At the end of the show the judges deliberated for about five minutes.

Announcer: And the winner is... Isabella Jonas!

She ran up on stage, while hugging everyone on the way.

Announcer: Congratulations!

Isabella: Thank you so much! *Hugs him and takes the trophy*

Afterwards we went to dinner with Luke and his family. Miley couldn't stop raving about how much she loved Izzy's performance. It was really good to see her again. And it was cool to get to meet her family and see that she's doing well.

Isabella's POV--

It was the best feeling in the world to win that contest, but there were a ton of other people that deserved to win way more than me. Miley couldn't stop telling me how good I was. It was nice to hear it from the actual artist. Joe and Kevin gave me a look when I was performing. I immediately knew that they were going to lecture me about saying bad words. I don't think that you should have to sensor the way you feel in music. It's sort of like a diary, and people don't sensor themselves in their own diary. So it shouldn't matter. When we got back us kids had to get to bed because we had school the next day. When I was "alseep" I heard Kevin and Dani talking about my performance. I started to get what they were talking about. I got up and turned on my laptop. I checked oceanup and sure enough there it was. My performance. I knew very well that my dad checks oceanup, and there was a chance he would see it. At first I thought good it serves him right, but after a few seconds I didn't want him to see it. I felt bad about what I said in the song. But then I was unsure. Should I care if he sees it? He doesn't care about me... does he? I went to bed with questions floating in my thoughts.

Kevin's POV--

It was nine in the morning and the kids were already at school. I was sitting in the studio playing with some sounds for the recordings that Isabella made when my phone started ringing. It was Nick. I hesitantly answered it.

Kevin: Hello?

Nick: What the hell Kevin?!

He was pissed and I knew by tone of his voice that he'd seen the video.

Kevin: What?

I played stupid.

Nick: Isabella. She sang 7 Things. I thought we agreed no boyfriends. And she cussed in it? You let her do that?

I can't stand this anymore. I hate getting angry with my brothers but I just couldn't handle this anymore. This isn't fair to Isabella.

Kevin: Yeah she did! And it wasn't about a boyfriend! It was for a stupid boy! And she did cuss and I have to talk to her about that. Even though I know what she'll say... do you?

Nick: No Kevin, enlighten me!

Kevin: She'll say that music is her diary. And people don't sensor themselves in their diaries so she shouldn't have to. No one should. And that song was about you Nick. Just like Miley sang it for you but for Izzy it was from a different view!

Nick: Like what? Huh? Why? I've never done anything to her.

Kevin: Or for her. You ignore her, Nicholas! It's not fair to her! And maybe if you looked past your bad attitude, you'd see that she has talent. She's better than you were! There I said it! She's amazing! Do you know how many contests she's won? How many contests and talent shows she's been in?!

Nick: No...

Kevin: That's what I thought.

I hung up on him. I just can't talk to him right now. And I think it sort of serves him right. She doesn't deserve this.

I was just typing the next chapter and my computer is being annoying. It keeps deleting what I write. I've tried to write the next chapter like six times. So I'll post tomorrow. :)
