FreeTrack is a free head tracking program that can be used with any Windows compatible video device, typically a webcam, in addition to the Nintendo Wii Remote. It can measure head rotation and translation, together a total of six degrees of freedom (6dof) and can output to FreeTrack and TrackIR interfaces as well as mouse, keyboard and joystick controls.
This video demonstrates the stability and responsiveness of FreeTrack v2.1, using a cheap 30fps Logitech webcam, in Aces High II.

Thanks man! I recommend Free Track to everybody. I made the headtracker a few days ago, a 2DOF for IL-2 and it works great. I used the batteryholder and the led of an old remote control. You saved me 200 dollar.

lol thats the one thing i hated in offline... you shoot the planes wing off and make it catch fire and it still flys around the field lol

paying 15 $ per month, and playing with min 299 players per arena...i think its worth of it...
iam playing it for 7 months, i even brought Logitec G940 for it!

Well I like both games... IL 2 and aces high II dont know why people figth so much on these videos' coments, I mean... they are completly different game styles and you can find your fun for both of them.,.. in both you can create your missions and terrains and also skins... in both you can join great figths online and offline... well both are great games. the ONLY thing that gets me is that for aces high you have to pay 15 bucks per month to play online so i stick with the off missions and IL 2

Head movements only need to be very small, the maximum movement would be 20 degrees away from the screen to check six. It feels very natural.
