EzineArticles is an article site where people submit their writings to promote more traffic. My question is what qualifies a site to be a Web 2.0 property? I do get Ed's video and that the potential success in a market might not be possible, if they already have a good presence on a Web 2.0 property, But what I don't understand is why and how is blocking possible? Would really like to know more about this. Can someone explain?
I must admit I have absolutely no clue what Ed is babbling about here. An example or two would be a great idea. This one is greek to me. I know what squidoo is, but tumbler-ezine-hubpage I would not recognise if they jumped up and bit me on the...
I'd dare to suggest that the easiest way is to look at see if the first 10 listings are full of domain names that have ezine articles, tumblr, hubpages, squidoo, netscape in them - if so - someone's got there first - which means it's just a harder job to compete - not impossible - harder - so you need to be smarter, better and even more optimized (without overdoing it) than them.
the video did teach me something. I got a lot of vauable info from this

Ed, can you help by showing an example of a web 2.0 property showing up in a listing? One example would help.
Thanks
