Recently I saw this movie for the second time - it's so beautiful and tragic. Sofia Coppola did a great job as a director.
And your video is just amazing, the song is perfect - real tribute!

i'm sorry, but that actually has nothing to do with the story (most virgins are commiting suicide') could you please explain what you mean??

that's sort of the point. it mirrors what the boys said at the start of the book ('everyone had an opinion as to why cecilia tried to kill herself'); like the many neighbours and of course, the boys themselves, eugenides gives the reader the chance to explain the suicides in their own way. but no opinion is the right one. but you're right, he definently doesn't give an explanation.

The book explains why they killed themselves its an amazing story. I loved this film the first time I saw it and still love it now.
