MC Curly - Shoeshine Boy. MC Curly grew up in Cambodia as an orphan, he's now a rising star on the music scene and has even played a role in the opera 'Where Elephants Weep'. In Collaboration with music producer Jan Mueller, MC Curly has produced a first class debut album - hip hop songs covering social issues rapped out over an exotic blend of Khmer sounds and cranked up electro riffs courtesy of Professor Jan Mueller. This video was filmed and edited by Julien Poulson and Justin Foster as part of The River Flows Backwards documentary project on Cambodian music.
