Dude you gotta get some physical culture. It shows off the obliques...very hot in back in the day. Plus the Bench press didn't exist back then.  It was all about show man ship... We gotta get back to strongman culture!! SO MUCH FUN!!

aparently its easier to lift heavy weights with a bent press than the two hand overhead barbell press, but if u mess up, your fucked lol

Shot loaded barbells allowed you to add tiny bits of weight for gradual progression instead of upping the weight 5 lbs at a time.
