Another pretty good match between me and a Ryu player. This match is shows the usefulness of the Ultra Combos, since the rounds I win are almost entirely in thanks to them.

it can be difficult to dodge when you've been knocked down and someone inputs the command right before you get up like what happened at the end of round 3

Yeah but with Akuma's super/ultra, you don't have to react quickly at all. You have almost a full second to jump even in a situation like that. It is an incredibly useless move unless done when the other guy is crumpled from a focus attack.

the only sure way you will hit anyone with akumas special is if they are coming down from a jump or a wake up that they didnt hit you with.
