Well, that kinda kills. I loved Akira's music, and really, it was the only thing I was looking forward to for Downpour. I am well aware it's going to be shit, and from what I saw in the trailers for it (and we all know they only put the best parts in trailers) it looks a lot like Allen Wake. =/

Akira does one thing for silent hill as far as I'm concerned and that make jaw dropping soundtracks. Best in the biz in my opinion, rivaled only by Skyrim's soundtrack (which surprised the fuck out of me)

Great videos. I had played through Silent Hill 1 through 3 and only those based on the absolutely definitive opinions surrounding the series, and boy am I glad I listened.
If you can't even get the main story right, then why try to keep "expanding" on your false understanding of it. The one thing they *should* have copied from Silent Hill 2 is the fact that it didn't directly relate to the overarching story (a story that's already been concluded before the new developers took over).
