Yeah, earlier today, my cousin was using the vacuum, and my Wii motion bar cord was a bit on the floor, and the next thing I know, the vacuum sucks it up! and then, we turn the vacuum off, and the cord is cut in half, so, my cousin told me about this trick to put 2 candles down, so that they could replace the Wii sensor bar. So, I did not believe him at first, but in the end, IT WORKED! I was so freaking surprised.

@arod456: anything that gives off a small but powerful light source, spaced in the same spots as on the actual sensor bar.

all the candles are doing are replacing the light emitting sensor bar. the sensor bar doesnt sense anything really, all it does is give off two little lights that the wiimote then tries to find. :)

What else could you use instead of candles as a replacement?

Would you guys consider this a sufficient replacement for a sensor bar? My official wii sensor bar needs to be replaced, and since I'm a cheap bastard, I'm trying to think of the least expensive solution with the best results. Or is there a third-party product that lasts long with decent results?
