I got my first real printing press. Bought it on the taxpayers dime.
Printed till my fingers bled. Was the Summer of 2009.
Me and some guys from Harvard. Got a central bank we tried real hard.
Rham quit, Clinton got promoted. I should have known, we'd never get far.

Ohhh when I look back now. That Summer seemed to last forever.
And if I had the choice. Yeah I'd always wanna be there.
Those were the best days of my life.

Oh the way I devalue cash. I knew that it was gone forever.
Those were the best days of my life. Oh yeah. Back in the summer of 2009.

Well we were killing retirements.
We were young and restless, we the needed the bailout to unwind.
I guess nothing could last forever.....forever no.

And now the times are changing.
Your 401k has come and gone.
Sometimes when I start that printing press.
I think about all that went wrong.
