Missouri River Flooding Near Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge 06-16-2011

Updated video from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ixsPs2czClM of the Missouri river flooding near Bob Kerrey pedestrian bridge here in Omaha Nebraska and Iowa. I've been hearing and watching the news about how fast the river has risen in this past week. So I decided to visit the pedestrian bridge this evening, June 16th 2011 and take shots of the river and how it has changed since I was last their Sunday.

@ufozmankato Yes, The river water level has been raising dramatically for the past couple of weeks. The main reason is because of rain water and Gavins Point Dam having to release it somewhere.. So that's what causes the Missouri river flooding. Check links in description for more information on this topic.
