Written by George Gershwin in 1919 with Lyrics by Irving Ceasar for a show called Demi-tasse. Al Jolson heard the song and put it in his show "Sinbad" and recorded it for Columbia in 1920. It became a hit. It was number one for 9 weeks, and it sold a million copies of the sheet music. This is QRS roll #Q1007 credited as played by George Gershwin, played on a 1923 Harrington player.
