I thought it was a butterfly, moth, or large bee, but it turned out to be the tiniest hummingbird I've ever seen! It wasn't much bigger than the Johnny-Jump-up blossoms it was quickly visiting. It was reddish-brown. I think it's called a Rufous Hummingbird.
