Reminiscent of the opening to the 1993 film Philadelphia.

I love this movie, but I gotta love the book. It's part of a great series and it's just too bad that Dennis Lehane wrote so few books about them. But I also like some of the changes they made on some of the characters and plotlines.

Dennis Lehane wrote a sequel to this book. A direct sequel called Moonlight Mile. If you like Lehane's Kenzie/Gennaro novels then this is one you cannot miss. Did Patrick do the right thing by bringing Amanda 'home'? Ever wonder what happened to her?

Harry Gregson Killed this score. To me it's what makes this scene what it is. I don't think most people realize that composers have to watch the scoreless version of the film & literaly create a backdrop that will go with it. Btw Ben Affleck might not be the best actor in the world but He's without a doubt an incredible director.
