  • remember Wrexham having Bobby Shinton in their side...and with McNiell,,Griffths,,Thomas,Davies..they were the best 3rd Division side i can remember...

  • I remember being at the Racecourse for the very first time for the match of the season, a 7-1 thrashing of Rotherham United that sealed the title for us. I thought every game I went to thereafter would be as high-scoring an affair!

  • MY MUM MADE THIS RECORD IN A STUDIO IN CHESTER, DURING THE '70'S

  • Wrecsam am Byth...

Where did it all go so wrong???

  • You'll be back

  • Wow was great watching that video, brings back a lot of memories. Also the song were gonna score which is sang by the Brymbo Male voice chior, Brings back memories as my taid bought me this record and i still have it to this day :-)

  • anyway of sending it me, i help run the wrexham 12th man and if i could get a copy maybe we could sing this at match days, its a good ctachy tune.

  • Cheers Shaggy... happy days for Wrexham in those times. I am now in Devon, but still follow The Reds/Robins. I used to run the supporters shop, next to to The Turf pub ;)

When I played for Druids, Ray Mielzarek was our manager, remember him?.. and John Schofield was my goalkeeper idol.

Arfon went on to run a newspaper shop in Gresford, is he still alive?

  • No it was Arfon Griffiths that season John Neal left the season before after we missed out on promotion due to the fact we lost our last two home games against Mansfield and Crystal Palace when we only needed a point to get promotion, Neal went onto manage Middlesboro.

  • I was goalkeeper for the mighty Druids United, that season! some good memories brought back. Pity it went downhill lately though. Was John Neal the manager that season?
