4 months old. Here is a video of one of Hannah's episodes. It is a very minor one- most of her other ones lasted at least double what this one did. If your child is doing this- TAKE THEM TO THE DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY. I was told this was "breath holding." Sure, there is some breath holding, but the passing out part was HER HEART NOT BEATING (bradycardia)! Oh, and sorry the video is sideways. With her pacemaker in now, she cannot have an episode like this anymore. Sure, she crys and gets mad and starts to hold her breath, but now she never passes out and turns white.

@sarecams If you haven't already, you should get an apnea monitor that watches both respiration and heart rate. The apnea monitor noticed that Hannah's heart was stopping for 20 seconds during these episodes and she needed a pacemaker immediately. 5 months later we are episode free!!!!

Thank you for posting this. My son has done the same thing since he was 6 months old. His heart stops. We are told he is too young for a pacemaker. Can you message me so we can chat?
