I just saw this documentary and I only think about how everyday life make us insensitive..... We dont ignore reality, but we are not interested in understand it and live it, cause when it happens, the wish of changing becomes brutal.

fund your own trip into warzones. buy your own gear (and hope it doesn't get completely ruined). cross your fingers and hope you don't get killed and THEN - attempt to sell the photos to the press. Publications don't really send people out - people go out and do the work knowing they can do a good job and fund their trip.

there not insensitive ! that's what usually people think...they're just strong with a camera. When they have a camera they takes pictures, so that people know what's going on in the world (somebody has to do that job, right?), they leave there emotions for later. They can cry when they're home, not on the field or it will be worst for them.
