Beware Of Trees!

No, it wasn't a Lion King fan, it was actually a storm that blew through my town - in California of all places! I've lived in this state most of my life and have never seen this kind of crazy shit before!

Thankfully no one - including yours truly - was hurt.

if by aparment, you mean the stairs leading to your apartment.

and if by hurt, you mean cover up partly, at most scratching it up by the looks of the photo.

no disrespect to your mighty California storms, but I'd wager any Noreaster in New England would wipe the floor with that one any day. ffs BRANCHES break off of trees in the road that are bigger than that.

My apartment actually got off easy. The side that the tree hit was all banged up, but nothing was broken. Two other apartments got totaled though, so we were the lucky ones.

I've lived in California most of my life and have only been in one - very very small - earthquake. The tree was about the biggest natural disaster I've ever encountered.

Anyone who lives in areas with real weather disasters are gonna see me for the wuss I am on this one. lol.

Northern or Southern California, Matthew? I grew up and lived in Northern CA for half of my life... I remember this big quake of '89 and a few funnel clouds, but nothing like trees falling! Glad you made out OK.

all you showed us was a pic of a tree branch on some steps, if Id seen more than like 2 pics taken from a more informative angle, I'd have probably let my remark slide.
