Julie Taymor is GOD.

Marcus is such a great underrated character in my opinon

Colm Feore's entrance in this scene is one of the best acted moments of this great film. Just the horrific implications behind a man finding his niece in such a terrible condition... Feore projects that all into his look of horror and grief.

When I was about 5 or 6, I think my parents watched this, because for years I remembered having nightmares about this one scene.
I shouldn't have; knew it was only a movie.
How strange.

great scene horrific but artfully done ...love this adaptation the costumes and sets where pure art.

D: Oh god, BRANCH HANDS.

Lavinia was kind of a bitch, her only line in the play was being a total bitch to Tamora.... So we really don't get a sense of her personality, as everyone else speaks for her from this point on...

Is this a student film?

@TheMollyLang whoa calm down, hoe. are you on your period or something?

@BOOLsheet What on earth is wrong with you? Don't call Lavinia a bitch. And you seriously would? After she was just raped and tortured? Sick.
most horrific scene in my mind, but so artfully done, I mean it really puts the tradegity back into Titus. The idea of branches instead of hands and when she opened her mouth, the ribbon of blood gave me nightmares. amazing work. bravo.
