Bankroll management is key. Use 5% of your bankroll if you want to be successful. I started with $200 a week ago and now my account is at $1000. Take straight bets and good payouts like a -110 or even a positive +110 don't always go for the favorites. I tend to watch games and bet on innings and teams covering spreads.

However it is irresponsible to bet with more than you can afford to lose, but there is no harm in wagering a reasonable amount.
