Chicago artists Lea Pinsky and Dustin Harris, a husband and wife team, painted a mural on a CTA wall near the Morse Redline El stop in Rogers Park. With the help of 80 youth and the Rogers Park Business Alliance, the team painted the wall (the length of a city block) the summer of 2009.

  • yeah i love that mural. i love walking down glenwood just to see it. i love how it explains the history of how diverse rogers park is as the ellis island of Chicago.

  • Dustin and Lea, great job on the mural - very, very impressive! I enjoyed watching this video and hearing the story behind the project. I'm sure it's something those kids will never forget.

  • You two are so inspiring. Proud to know you.

  • Very cool! You two are doing important work with the kids. Chicago is a better place because of you = )
