The Call to Harvest part 1 (video of Gospel for Asia). Titus is a native missionary minstering in the Himalayas of Nepal. Despite persecution, he is planting churches and baptizing new believers. Gospel for Asia currently supports 16,500+ native missionaries like Titus in 10 different countries in Asia. To date, nearly 30,000 churches have been planted in the 10/40 window!! The motto is "Planting churches among the most unreached." After a 3 year training program, 98% of those sent out go to a village where there is no other church. Within a year, the majority are able to establish a church. Native Missionaries do 90% of all pioneer missionary work. These indigenous missionaries are more effective than western missionaries for many reasons. They know the language and culture. There is no need for a visa. It only costs about $1000 a year to fully support a missionary. Please consider partnering with a missionary and sponsor for only $30 a month. • All I can say is, this mission to harvest souls in India is ill advised at best. Indians have their own distinct belief systems and views of their own. Are you willing to belittle the views of the natives to further your own? Even at the cost of instigating conflict? And you are preaching non violence to the very Indians who pioneered pacifism. Ever heard of Mahatma Gandhi? Study foreign civilizations and beliefs with care before jumping on the missionary bandwagon.

  • Are you aware of the hundreds of churches and Christians that were killed recently in Orissa? The Christians did not retaliate. Instead, they fled into the jungles to hide for their lives. I think that qualifies for pacifism. Why would they need to study foreign civilations? These Christians are already from Asia.

  • No Christians were killed and 17 churches were vandalised or burnt. Situation was controlled by police and paramilitary forces. Victims were all rehabilitated. The violence was in response to the assassination of a Hindu guru with a large tribal following who discouraged Christian conversions. 'The Christians did not retaliate'- Oh yes they did, several Hindu temples were burnt in the district a week after the attack. Not to mention that they started it by killing Swami Lakshmanananda.

  • Are you sure you want to be that specific and have that level of certainty when a lot of the violence occurred in rural India in a state of millions of people? All the reports I saw put the numbers much higher. The Swami was killed by Maoist rebels who even claimed credit for it.

  • NOT all Christians are White-it's a beautiful "multi-colored" family. However, I don't blame you for this comment because of what the "media" covers. Feel free to reply or contact me and I would love to help you see a "BIGGER" picture then what the "mainstream" media covers on Christians

  • this is a challenge to all of us "Believers" to seek God on His calling in our individual lives on how we can do our part in the collectivist or group work together in the "Great Co-Mission" (Matthew 28)

  • What a blessing! All glory to God! :')

  • To judge what words should be silenced on peoples reactions would be a grievous error. History is a good example of many ideas once deemed as inflammatory. For example, slavery, or women's right to vote. Should, this man stop speaking if some of his fellow countrymen are inflamed by new ideas? Where would the world be today, if all men were required to practice this philosophic?

  • @parthsna My understanding of the word pacifism is opposition to war or violence of any kind. This man is only presenting ideas, not using force or violence to make converts. Where is the tolerance for this native man rights? Should he or any other person be in fear because they posses a different view point. Maybe, the question should be why any person should not have the right to free religious expression.

  • The Gospel of Yeshua not welcome.

  • preaching for a foreign religion .. what a shame !!

  • @parthsna

i disagree with what your'e sayng but no space here to go into it all

i encourage you to look at the person of Jesus and consider His teachings and claims about Himself. Try reading the Gospel of John at biblegateway (google it at click on first site)

    God bless you

  • @dcsfanatic we are disciples of Jesus Christ, who himself declared: I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man comes to the Father but through me. It is not us who declare a monopoly on truth. It is Jesus Christ the Son of God who declares himself to be the only Truth. your offense, while it may be stated towards Christians, is in truth towards Jesus himself. But it is as Jesus warned, if they hate me, they will hate you also. We offend you only because the Son of God offends you.

  • @parthsna since the day that Paul stepped into Ephesus and upset the beliefs and views of both the Jews and those who worshipped Diana, the gospel of God, wherever it is preached, has been and will be a source of conflict for those who reject his gospel. Those who do so are ready to lay down their lives to the hope of the calling that is Jesus Christ. It is a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense to the unbelieving, but the power of God unto eternal life to them that believe.
