HELLO! Yet another NO MAKEUP video... haha don't know if that's a bad thing! I just thought this DIY video would be helpful to those who are HAIRY like me lol Or just need to keep themselve groomed nicely.

I know people spend TONS on facial, body, eyebrow, etc. waxing so I thought it would be helpful to show you guys how I wax at my salon. I am licensed and this would be the way most professionals wax, so it may be different from home kits or beginner kits.

I tried my best to share and show all of my tips but if I left anything out please lt me know and ask me questions!! If I can I will definitely help you :D

Products mentioned/need:
- Gigi All Purpose Honey Wax
- Easy Clean Wax Machine
- Baby Oil or Cold Cream
- Fabric (cut into strips accordingly to the area desire for waxing)
- small popsicle sticks or cosmetics spatula
- Neosporin or aloe vera

Thank you!

  • What do you do when you run out of the sheet?

  • @VeryDelightful the sheets are purchased at fabric stores such as Hancock or Anne's Linen.

  • why not simply make a lazier hair removal, if you think about it, counting all the times you go paying for waxing your face could get you one treatment per month, just sayin

  • @Thee90M laser can leave dark pigmentation depending on the melanin in your skin. Everyone is different. Also if I laser my facial hair I'd have to be very careful with skin exposure and it's more of a permanent effect on the damages.

  • Do you recommend honey wax or creme wax for the face?

& what do you do during the time when you have to let the hair grow back so its long enough to wax again? That's my biggest fear about waxing my face, I don't want to let the hairs grow back and have little stubble everywhere.

  • @KayeLife Its weird because it's more gentle to use creme wax on the face but the risk of sensitivity reaction is higher. I always had a great experience with honey wax :D You wont get any stubble because when you wax you're pulling the hair out completely so when the new cuticle grows out the hair is the same or finer and not corse like when you shave it. So when it's growing out it's fine and doesn't look bad :D

  • In the fall and winter I thread eyebrows and my upper lip but I can't be bothered to do it in the spring and summer for some reason my take on boho summer chic I suppose??). I admire the effort you put into defuzzing but I would be bumpy and wax-chafed for sure as I reacted to waxing my eyebrows once and I am afraid to do it again. My facial skin would rebel I'm certain. But my legs..I might give this a try and retire my razor if it works out. You have such informative posts as always!!:D

  • @mystikalmuse I'm glad it's helpful :D

  • Very helpful!! ;)

  • @xaovang I have never experienced that and nor has my clients/customers. If you get the right products then I believe that would never happen!! Hope this helped :D
