  • @AceHalford

Cameron is not a fool. He's ALSO a genius.

  • Best filmmaker ever. 2 Brillant actors in this film.

  • Such a shame he doesn't have an Oscar yet and a fool like James Cameron has 3...................

  • .. he aint good enf, he cant catch a break ! can he ?

  • this is for all the all the guys who are saying thats is not upto the mark in his recent work. look guys, that guy, sir Ridley, has made over 50 movies and a he confesses that he is a commmercial film maker, that means more than 50 films has a made for the box office and masses, 50 films is 3 decades for god sakes, now that he is in his 70's and wants to make some sort of serious and critically good and long lasting films (gladiator, american gangster, kingdom of heven ) u people say ..

  • 0:31-0:35 Now Ridley, don't beat around the bush, just come out and say it, you weren't just a commercial filmmaker, you were a BIG commercial filmmaker. LOL

  • Actually this is a great movie with masterful acting by Denzel Washington, Josh Brolin, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ruby Dee, and Russell Crowe. Denzel Washington in particular developed one of the most badass and intelligent gangsters of all time, even though his character in Training Day was a lot deeper, psychotic, and enjoyable. The acting alone makes this film great, Westley Snipes would've been great in the role too after seeing his performance in New Jack City and Brooklyn's Finest.

Well come on man, he is in his seventies now! Give him a chance :).

I personally loved those 2 newer movies he did, but you have to remember; once you raise the bar THAT high, it's pretty hard to raise it further.
