"White Shadows in the South Seas" - 1928 - Directed by W.S. Van Dyke. Starring Monte Blue. MGM's first sound picture which won an Oscar in 1928-29 for Best Cinematography (Clyde de Vinna). First time we heard the Lion roar. Filmed in Tahiti and the Marquesas Islands - A Very Rare Film indeed.
