I don't get why there are people who claim BTBAM has made such a significant sound change...I can agree that they became more into solos, especially on The Great Misdirect, but I listen to this and I still feel like it has the exact same BTBAM feel from every one of their albums...people just don't know music. One slight change, and ope I guess the band sucks now. Only musicians should make judgement about music sometimes I swear...

@Disturbedone1954 Now listen here. The judgement of a style of music, comes from opinion. There will always be people who look down on music like this, and there will be those who praise it. What YOU do with it, matters entirely to you, and maybe those who agree with you. But mainly you. Anyone can become a musician, and if they did, we would have a world full of musician trolling each other like idiots, when saying thing like 'I don't like it, it's not for me.' makes things easier for us all.

@Disturbedone1954 they have made a change, but not that significant. theyve become better musicians, and moved away from just being heavy to being really technical, which at least in my opinion is better, and yes i am a musician too. i dont even like their old stuff that much, this song being an exception, and i think colors was a masterpiece

@Disturbedone1954 So people who think that BTBAM has changed their style since Silent Circus just "don't know music"? Trust me, BTBAM's style has changed....Silent Circus absolutely does not sound like much of the stuff they'd done since. This album is probably the heaviest album they've done. Alaska was the last BTBAM album I enjoyed. Silent Circus and the s/t are still really enjoyable albums for me, but that might be because of nostalgia, I remember when I first got into the band in 02.
