Theatrical solo choreography by Kate Spanos for MA in Traditional Irish Dance Performance, University of Limerick. Performance at the Performing Arts Center at the University of Limerick on 27 November 2007.

  • That is so cool! You seem to be going outside the "normal" boundaries of Irish dance! Very creative, graceful, skillful. It's hard to see--are those speakers in the background? Does the sound come directly from those 2 speakers? What's the music?

    There are two speakers in the background and two speakers in front, so it's basically surround-sound around the entire room. You can't get the effect on video, but the sound is actually moving from speaker to speaker from corner to corner.

    The music is "The Eccentric" by Shooglenifty, and sound manipulation was done by John Greenwood.

  • You seem to be working outside the normal boundaries of Irish dancing. It's all very elegant, graceful, powerful....What's the music?
