Hey everyone! I was listening to a song on my iPod, it paused, restarted itself, and now it won't turn on! I'm just wondering if someone out there had the same problem because I don't want my $250 wasted =( Haha. So thanks for the help and remember to subscribe to me and watch all of my other videos!

  • Whenever this happens to my iPod , I always hold on to the sleep button for 3 seconds . Then I keep on holding on to it and press the one button with my other hand. Hold the sleep and one button for 10 seconds. Then without removing ur finger from the one button , release the sleep button and continue holding on to the home button for about 10 seconds! And Voila!!

Wait......... Sorry! This is for IPod Touch! My bad.

  • all you have to do is turn it on to where the apple appears and hit it hard like 5 times on a table and it should work, now I am having troubles trying to restore it. An error code of 1439 comes up. Does anyone know how to fix this?

  • @basoon27 well, its always possible to open any ipod.

too bad you stop using it

  • when yu reset it, dont let go of the center button, just release the menu button, and then hold down the play button (keep the center button down at all times untill disk mode comes up)

  • The hard drive has 99% failed in any 6th/7th gen ipod which shows the apple log or a red x. Hold it to your ear, if it clicks it's broken. The only fix is a replacement or try banging your ipod on a hard surface a few times until it stops clicking. Otherwise sell it for parts you will get £30

  • help me my ipod only has the apple & when i slam it it works but freezes again!

  • try charging it for 8+ hours. thats what i did and it restarted and i reset it to factory settings a re-synced it and now it works fine.

  • Yeah But... IPod Touch's Suck for memory... I Got tons of music... and Touch's just dont fill my music needs...
