Halo: ODST Xbox Live Matchmaking Petition

I have been a huge Halo fan since 2001, and I was very disappointed when Bungie left out the ability to play Firefight via Xbox Live matchmaking. I created this video and this petition in hopes that the feature will be added in at a later date.

Well Considering Halo Reach Is Out Next Year, With New Matchmaking Altogether, ODST Matchmaking Would Be a Waste Of Time, And It Comes With The Halo Multiplayer Disc, So Matchmaking Would Be Upsurd

I'm going to disagree with you on your statement. Adding the matchmaking abiltiy (or at least optimatch), would enhance the firefight mode. It wouldn't make it absurd, it would make the game feel more like a game and less like a full priced expansion. It makes no sense that they were able to port the Halo 3 MP modes, and not make it available for firefight...considering that ODST uses the same engine. Telling me that having matchmaking in firefight is a waste of time just doesn't make sense.

Matchmaking would be nice but there would be so many lagg and disconnection issues it would be unreal.

I'm going to disagree with you on that statement. Most Xbox games run off of MS servers, so that isn't an issue. Besides, it would run as smooth as Halo 3 does.

For some reason whenever I do live on firefight I can never find anyone online. I really want to play four player! Firefight is what I looked forward to most in purchase of this game! My gamer tag is Beeblo.

I think that a game priced at $60 should have matchmaking included. It was bad enough there wasn't matchmaking for ODST multiplayer. It's a complete hassle to find 3 other people to play with who happen to be on Live, who happen to own the game/is playing it, and wants to play Firefight. Kind of a letdown Bungie.

Thank Goodness I rented this game only, I figured out on the first day after finishing the campaign that FIREFIGHT had no MATCHMAKING AT ALL!!!! Gears of War 1 & 2 still steals the thunder away from Master Chief... I wanted to play firefight and thought it it would matchmake, but NOOOOOOOOOO!
