Kaleeko the Irian Jaya Blue Tongue Skink. Found In the Island Of Irian Jaya. The enigmas of all the Blues. Alot of people think they are a natural cross bred between several BTS. But to me Its a true species of its own. And alot of people will agree. Ultimate survivors. and very beautiful. They come in different patterns and colors. Do not miss out. • Oh, this is so cool. Beautiful lizards. You take good care of them handling them all the time so that they have body contact that is so good. Where do they live in the wild?

  • @LarissaLurid He is over 2 feet. He is pretty big. They keep growing till 3 years old. And he is thick but not out of shape. He exercises a lot. I am in the process of getting him a monster enclosure. I will post a vid of it.

  • @TheMass33 wow your merauke seems small for 2 yrs. lol! my Merauke is watching your video trying to lick your lizards. its so cute!

  • @LarissaLurid Sounds like an awesome set up. My Marauke loves Collard greens. I cut super worms with it, figs, shredded carrots and black cherries. Almost good enough for me to eat. smells gooood! lol

  • @TheMass33 lol dont worry ik.i have a 100w red heat lamp and 50 uvb desert light,i have nice basking rocks@different levels for diff amounts of heat as well as a not tall, but wide little rock cave made under the basking rocks, large low dish with water,a big borrowing area on the cool side also.mine does everything with me<3mine eats daily with a wide variety of live mealworms+ crickets i raise, organic cat food i read ingredients to make sure arent fillers, etc.diff fruits vegetables+dark greens.

  • @LarissaLurid Well Indio my Merauke is 2 years, and Kaleko is a Irian Jaya and hes, wait?! Its ina book somewhere. Lol. But Kaleko is very young. Both Species grow fast. Blues do. The more they eat when they are young the bigger they get. Add Calcium w/ D3. I have an under the tank heat pad with a 10.0 UVB bulb. And about 3 times a week I take them outside so they can bask and get real sun. They are awesome.

  • hey there, i see your skinks are young, how old were each of them (about) in the video? Im just curious of the comparison between each with age vs how fast each of the subspecies grow. i have a merauke hatchling now about 2 months old.

  • @AzlieAndHasyrulHQ they need a UVB bulb on 10 hours per day in order to prevent metabolic bone disease. the tank should be around 85 and they need a flat rock to bask in with a red heat lamp to be on at all times for warmth (they cant see red)

in the future id recommend researching before getting an animal so you can properly care for them.
