He didn't move to Ohio until he was in the 6th grade so he said he never felt that home state connection. Plus his mom knows the UT Strength & Conditioning Coach from when he was on staff at Colorado & she worked for him. They've been friends for over 20 years.

yeah man, but i kind of think Hicks has had his mind up for a while. I hear he wore Longhorn gear at school, and he and Muschamp have become pretty cool with eachother. I don't think the "Ohio=Home" had a big effect, because he wasn't originally from Ohio. Have you seen the commitment vid? Tressel is a great coach, and has done great at OSU, but one thing he will have to learn, just as MB did, is learn to adapt, and be open to change. I'm sure OSU will be better once he does that.
