Our history is so rich with fascinating melodies, imagine that Mr. Still wrote this in 1931, the year my mom was born. We must continue to celebrate and embrace our heritage. Everyday of the year! What a valuable contribution to America music and culture Mr. Still gave. This is true very inspirational.

Should be in our concert halls more--we need to celebrate the good music composed in this country instead of listening to imports all of the time.

love this
I played in this recording. We're going to be recording Still's 2nd and 3rd symphonies, and his "Wood Notes" in April, again for the Naxos label. I had a terrific time making the recording. Still's music is wonderful!
