@pomponi0 Junk food or starvation, yeah I don't know they both seem pretty shitty to me. I don't care what people do with their kids today - it's not like their lives are affecting mine, it's just this creepy ass book that people loved way back in the day lol. I can't do a damn thing about these stupid kids today so, yes, I find it benefits me to complain about this. Not to mention I think anyone nowadays would consider these stories cruel.

@Iamjustherek why would he do that? I think it'll ruin the point pretty much, everybody remember these stories as scary as fuck...those stories can't be less scary than this, and I kinda like it, it's inspiring.......still horrible tho XD

@malastrome15 yeah, that is how the original illustration is. The yellow is the soup I guess. I have it break on the grave at the end.

My mom used to read Struwwelpeter stories, Max and Moritz and Brothers Grimm to me as a kid, and I was a bit disturbed by all the violence: kids starving, getting their thumbs cut off, being ground into corn meal. It sure stopped me from sucking my thumb or complaining about soup!
