@primitivemedia Hey Mate, just wondering which wireless mic you have chosen to use with the XA10, cheers.

@coldsteel122 The main problem with CMOS sensors is rolling shutter, I know from experience with various CCD sensored cameras and CMOS sensored cameras. That's where fast pans get distortion, CCD doesn't have that problem.

Wow. That freaked me out! Does anyone else think it looked like the guy was zip-lining uphill?

@primitivemedia Is the color quality just as good? I was told CMOS is better in low light, but CCD sensors are better at replicating actual colors.
The sales people are trying to steer me towards is the Panasonic AG-HMC150 which has 3 CCD sensors, but would rather get the Cannon XA10 if the color quality is just as good.

Hey...what is a better camera the XA10 or the XH-A1S? Anybody know? Been looking around and actually noticed the XH-A1S is more expensive even though it shoots in 1080i. I know the XA10 shoots in 1080p, so I'm trying to figure out what the deal is.

I sold my Canon XHA1 to buy this camera. The Canon XHA1 or XHA1S are great cameras, but they only shoot 1080i and tape based. Both cameras shoot at the same bite rate, but the XA10 is superior in low light and I am no longer am limited by 1 hour tapes, I can now record with cards for over 11 hours. I was wanting to purchase the XF100, but for $1000 more I opted for the XA10. they have the same lens and senor. Hope this helps.
