Cruising the San Juan Islands

In this video, we are traveling up to Friday Harbor which is located on the eastern side of San Juan Island. We'll board a 34' C&C sailboat called Scamper in Friday Harbor and sail out into the Strait of Juan de Fuca on our trip over to Victoria, B.C. From there, we'll sail back out into the Strait on our way over to Port Townsend. Finally, we'll leave Port Townsend and sail down into Puget Sound to Eagle Harbor located across from Seattle. While at each port, we discuss the history of that town that makes it a must see when sailing in the Pacific Northwest.

Helicopter rides over the islands should be illegal as well as the ban on boating off the Southwest side of the island during the orca feeding season. We need to quit harrassing the whales and wildlife of the islands with our presence.
