This video is meant to provide an introduction to the Sonatasia experience.

Sonatasia is more than a performance, it is a thrilling adventure of music, dance, theater, and architecture in a spectacular private home. There is no stage. The entire house is a stage, with performers close enough to touch. And you will be touched by Sonatasia.

Sonatasia is a word created from two musical terms: Sonata and Fantasia. A sonata is a type of music with a particular form and structure. Architecture too has both form and structure, and is an integral part of each performance. A fantasia is a piece of music without any particular rules which can be anything the composer desires. A Sonatasia performance goes beyond the traditional way a concert is performed in many different ways, with the goal of creating a unique, intimate and moving experience for all.

Love it. We have piano parties whereby you invite guest to sit and listen to you play. I provide food and drink during intermission. Fun! A much more relaxing atmosphere, less stressful.
