I've been here 60 years now and for the first time in my life I have been watching a socialist do his damnest to tear at the very fibers that made this country. Socialism isn't working... @shirl5044 Bush's last budget - deficit = 1.413 trillion dollars.

Obama's first budget - deficit = 1.293 trillion dollars.

Obama's current budget proposal - deficit = 900 billion dollars.

Not exactly a "sky rocketing" deficit, is it?

@shirl5044 You should learn the difference between the word "debt" and "deficit". They can cut the deficit down to 0 and balance the budget within 2 terms and the debt will still rise unless they have a surplus equal or greater to the sum of the deficits leading up to balancing the budget.

@shirl5044 yeah and w. bush and reagan skyrocketed our debts too. this isn't about obama, this is about both parties being beyond corrupt, with a ruling elite that pull all the strings. i fail to see how a vote for romney or santorum will help at all, it would probably be worse with them. I'm voting for some kind of third party or option.
