I had PRK 10 days ago and my doctor said the same thing after giving me the option of PRK/LASIK, he would go with PRK. Everything is going pretty well but improvement is very slow now. No pain for the past week and no glare at night. Things are a bit blurry still and vision is better at some times/days than others thus far. Eyedrops help. I hope I can say that I'll be seeing as well as I did with glasses after 9 weeks like Tom!

I am getting PRK in 6 days. My eye doctor asked me after explaining LASIK and PRK "Which procedure would you like to do?" I replied with "Well, if you were going under the laser which one would you choose?" He said , "PRK for sure." And PRK and LASIK are the same price at this clinic so I know he wasn't just trying to up sell me. Thank you for posting this and your other blogs abt. PRK. It's very comforting to know that other people are satisfied with the procedure.
