i would hope that he wouldn't see a pediatrician about CANCER. to boot a pediatrician deals with youths not adults brainiac.

no, he was diagnosed after seeing a doctor. he ignored symptoms for years and never saw a pediatrician.

This is the genius of Andy Kaufman; to this day, he still fools people! Lol. Andy used reality and make-believe together to confuse people, to poke fun at what people call reality by turning the audience into part of his act. Andy had only one kid and never married. He did have lung cancer, but may not have known how serious it was at this point. What is clear is that it was all an act (and Kaufman was 'thrown out' as part of this act.) Hope that doesn't spoil the gag for everyone.
