everyone thought saddam still had chemical weapons - it wasn't that one party thought he had them and the other didn't..... it's what each party thought we should do about it.
Bill Clinton and the Democrats knew there wasn't a need to do more than press the OPCW inspections... but the GOP and neocons weren't satisfied with that and got us into this shitstorm
