Banjo in the Sun

For the consideration of 107.1 for the Weezer Hootenanny contest.

This is my adaptation of Weezer's Island in the Sun for a bluegrass band.

Played on my custom Nechville Meteor Electric 5 string banjo.

The background tracks of mandolin, bass, and guitar were created using multitrack recording in a session recorded off camera, some with real instruments, and some via synth banjo... guess which ones.

The timing went out of sync once or twice in my monitors, I think my laptop was bogged down, but unfortunately its the only machine I have on me at the moment :-\

there is nothing i want more than an electric banjo, especially the meteor but i cant afford that. anyone know where i can maybe get a deal besides ebay?

Sorry for the delayed response... The Nechville is great, particularly the midi capability, but they are pricey. Goldtone does make two electric banjos that are pretty affordable though, you should check them out.
