@xxxgreg Hard times must really be hard times.

you can get just the rings off e-bay for $23 that's with shipping.

This is total Trolling. Anyone looking at this is clearly interested in saving a buck now and is willing to deal with the obvious risks associated with homemade equipment. Your just being inflammatory on purpose to be a tool, schmuck, boob, etc. Are you 12?
Firetrainer33, great work, it's much appreciated!

first of all, i don't feel that my rings are the best. in fact, i stated that in the beginning of the video. second, i don't need cement to "harden the f$%k up." my life experiences have hardened me just fine. third, you didn't upset me. i felt that your comment was condescending so i decided to respond to it appropriately. Leave a 'jerkish' comment, get a sarcastic reply. If that wasn't your intention, then my bad, but look at it from my perspective. good job on the $40 rings. seriously.

Ouch!
Sorry Superman. If you feel that your rings are the best, then good for you. I ended up buying "Cable Hand Grips" that you find in any Gym. Cost me $40 and do the same. Soooorry to upset you. You might have take a teaspoon of Cement and Harden the Fuck Up!!.

That's exactly what I was hoping for when I posted this. Thanks for the comment.

LOL... he takes after his dad!
One thing I took away from this video is, if you're creative, have an open mind, and you're always hunting, you can come up with some pretty cool solutions, rather than just follow what's posted everywhere
Thanks!

The PVC rings worked out great, but these took less effort to make and are just as strong in my opinion. You're probably right about saving more w/ the PVC rings. I just wanted to show another option in case some people didn't have an oven big enough to hold the PVC pipes. Thanks for the comment. Keep training hard. It looks like your son is quite the athlete.
im using cpvc, hope it works

it works great. make sure you fill them w/ sand prior to heating them up to avoid kinks, but i'm sure you already know this. it's all about trial and error. good luck.
