DVD features real-time playback of the entire painting and underpainting, along with demos on drawing, preparing surfaces, and photographing your work. Feature length commentary. Total run-time: 162 minutes plus bonus features

Total time for the piece (blank board to finished piece) was 160 minutes. The piece is in oil, 5x7 inches on gessoed illustration board (Strathmore 500 series heavyweight vellum finish) and the under-painting was acrylic.

Awesome painting work, but you do have some problems with proportions, at the face. I think it's all too narrow, and in the end it looks rather Asian. In the original the girls' more curvy, fuller shapes.

Anyway great work, I have a lot to learn before I get there :)

This looks great Dave! I'm glad you went over shooting your work as well, that's something I think a lot of artists over look in their DVDs. Killer music by your brother too, did not see that comin.
