  • Hey, I also went and ordered one from CS on closeout - yup, $65! I just had to have one right after watching your video. You should get a discount next time you buy from Cold Steel! :)

  • @Chiburi, Sounds good, as I'm thinking of buying a pair of their new Point Guard's [you got to have both blade types], or Two Handed Katana Machete, or the Slim Stick, or Trench Hawk, or Spike Hawk, or from the old line 1 of eather of these, Gurkha Kukri (SK-5 High Carbon), or the Laredo Bowie (SK-5 High Carbon).

  • @ak47a Can this knife handle some rough everyday use? If it can't can you recommend me one that can?

  • @009jorge1 Yes but good luck getting 1.

  • @009jorge1 Yeah, get 1 of the new 2011 models. They come with better locks and steel liners for added strength.

  • @ak47a I'm thinking of getting one of the new tantos.

    gringo.

  • @ak47a Are there any other knives that you could recommend?

  • It dont need steel liners,it would just add weight to a already large knife. The new ones have steel liners though so if thats your cup of tea you will love em! Great vid!

  • someone who has this for sale ?

  • But weapon retention is always important, so if you carry knives for protection you should have educated yourself in this aspect of knife fighting. The butt end can also be used to your advantage, in hooking the limbs and neck. The size of the handle is also good if you live in a place where you wear gloves in the winter, and the full serration of the blade will help it cut through layers of clothing.

All in all, a very nice knife, and I'm glad I got a hold on one! :)
