can anyone help i have this my main problem is lack of energy going back to bed 2 and 3 times a day i need to know what to do when am working how to stay fit and what foods to eat through the day without feeling sleepy and what i could drink
I can't understand why the medical profession as a whole doesn't embrace this way of treating such a common illness. Its so hard to find a doctor or specialist who will treat you with natural thyroid here in Aus. Yet the difference is astounding. Having tried T4 only, which made me feel awful, I finally found a doctor who gave me thyroid extract, the difference is amazing. You actually feel like a new person.
@Quadmom2005 synthroid hasn't worked for me either and i'm thinking of doing the same with the armour. i've been gaining weight and on of my dr.s just told me that my thyroid is a bit enlarged. are you getting it from your dr. or online pharm? i'm not sure where to turn with repect to a source. all the dr.s i've spoken to keep pushing synthroid. and everytime i go to the dr.s i keep seeing the same drug rep. who suppies the synthroid. i really need an alternative.
@MAMASUE07 It's sad when we have to take charge of our own health...even while PAYING supposed experts. Synthroid DOES NOT WORK FOR EVERYONE. I'm living proof. If I hadn't started being proactive (and yes even self medicating, which I'm not advising AT ALL), then I'd probably either be dead of institutionalized by now. I take the generic form of Armour now and while I'm still tinkering with optimal dosage, I feel better than I have since before my thyroid nightmare began 5 yrs ago.
There is plenty of iodine as well as detoxing and alkalining nutrients in many raw vegetables.
If people would stop cooking half the nutrients out of their food they would quickly find that the remedies and cures are in the raw/organic diet not in synthetically isolated laboratory created medications.
I have a low thyriod, and it took over a year before the doctors could get the right dose of Synthriod for me. You may need to change the dose, or maybe you need a new doctor who will work with you.

He says he started to take "thyroid" Can he be any more UNclear? He should state exactly what he took that helped him. Very frustrating video!
