This maybe a stupid question even though covered it but is it possible to use methanol on stock engines w/ just bolt-ons? If so are there and bad side-effects?

a 50/50 mix of alc/water on 91 octane will put you in the 107 oct area and its non flammable so if u wreck or something its not gonna catch easily if at all...100%, a heat source=boom and if u wreck ur shit outta luck with ur insurance because they can prove ur car caught on fire soley for that reason so they dont have to cover u..nor does the factory

i tried today this water injection on my 2.0 tdiesel inercooled galant, but i do not notice more power, i installed after the turbo before the ic, and i used 50\50 water and meth, but i do not notide anything. do i doing something wrong?

You can run meth straight or 50/50 with DISTILLED (do not use tap) water. You can run it any ratio you like, you just need to get tuned for it. Water helps with cooling, while the meth will "increase" the octane ... 50/50 is a good (and safe) way to go ... but, you get a bit more power with 100% meth (but you live a little more dangerously).

Nice deceptive video ... the ECU won't mess with the timing if you actually change the map on the ECU ... only idiots run a stock tune with a MBC. Get a tune, and you can "tune up the boost" with no problems and your ECU won't change anything ... adding Meth/Alco/Water is a good idea, though, if you want to make things a lot more safe (avoid heat and detonation) ... you can advance timing a bit more with these.

i've been wondering for a long time but, i got a AEM water injection kit, i was jus wondering where exactly do you get water/alcohal or methanol from? I've heard you use winshield wiper fluid.

Then i went to a hobby store which they sell 5 gallon tanks of 99% methanol, are you suppose to mix it with water cuz some injectors require 50-50 mixture of water and methanol.
