  • I bet none of the videos from the original film would be online if the 2009 version was never made.

  • @TheEpisodeTrack Well I've never even heard of the new version. I saw the scene one day on TV, found out which movie it was, and some time later uploaded it here.

  • @Bktay210 because its the goddamn original?

  • @Bktay210 This scene was far more spontaneous in comparison to the 2009 scene. I mean, you're watching this and you wouldn't expect the scene to change into a song because of all the various activities going on in the lunch room. Then, the music and dancing was tied together unexpectedly. The rapping in the 2009 scene was more modern and predictable. But seriously, do you honestly expect 2 people jarring at each other in perfect rhyme and meter? Especially between a male and female?

  • What is the name of this song? Is the music at the beginning different from the parts where Irene Cara sings?

  • @TheEpisodeTrack , The Original film is worshiped, It is one of the most gorgeous looking films ever made. furthermore Fame captures essence of the New York High School experience because of it's realism, it is a documentary, a visceral journal not just of the students but our lives, my school looked like that but we did not do formal arts we urban arts we did break-dancing, M.C. and Graffiti, we created an art form called Hip-Hop

  • if only lunch were like this in real life lol

  • i like the newer version better

  • Seriously people? I love both versions of the movie. Want to know why? Because they're BOTH about music. Real music lovers wouldn't be hating on the remake just because it's a remake. It was made so people of a younger generation would learn to appreciate music a little more. At least that's my opinion.

  • Wish I had been there-it may have been a scene from a movie but those kids know how to get down!!!

  • it sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • don't you wish your luch room when you were in school was like this! cause i do!!!!
