  • @Glendale41 It was left in good shape. Their kiddywinks, the Aleut's crotchfruit did the trashing! Their building now!

  • I lived just up the hill about 50 yards back in 1985. All I can say now is wow. Ate many meals in that chow hall.

  • Why was the based closed in such a manner. It looks trashed. Doesn't the US Govt clean the place up and board it up before closing a base. The place has chairs and junk thrown all over the place. I think its a disgrace it was left in such a mess and not closed properly. I was stationed at Galena in Central Alaska that was also closed. I imagine it was left like this also.

  • Why not ship all your homeless people there ;)

  • If that place was fixed up would make some nice affordable housing?
