How does the experiment prove to aid against hypothermia? Is this anoxia environment also in a sub-zero environment? Also, it isn't suspended animation at the cellular level, placing the cells all into the G1 phase. Or is that suspended animation? I'm not sure I'm understanding the overall purpose of your experiment. Are you looking to prove that cells can exist in an oxygen deprived environment and then begin dividing again? The same thing happens during a serum starve. Good luck!
