WE LOOK AT THE TINY JADE TREE CUTTING WE PLANED IN JULY OF 2008. IT GETS ADJUSTED IN ITS POT AND TRIMMED TO PROMOTE LATERAL GROWTH.

  • great work? how do you make a bonsai tree with the half dead trunk?

  • Do you mean on this Jade plant or in general?

  • In general

  • If you carefully peel the bark off, you can create this effect, but you run the risk of damaging or killling the tree. Best to talk with the traditionalist bonsai people who use this technique. I have some examples because animals or falls damaged the trees.

  • Hi, few questions. I'm trying to understand what parts of the jade tree, if cut, will have the potential of new growth eventually. For example, will you eventually have new growth in the area of your Oops? All the single leaves you cut, will there be new growth in those areas? About the only place I know you do have new growth eventually if cut is that little top piece you cut off in your video. Thanks.

  • ahh exalent

  • nice bonsai

  • Well all besides the "woops" its great. :D

I love jades. They are great.

  • The tree looks great.
